I got tattooed by Justin several months ago and mentioned he should have a website. He agreed and I got to work!
I’ve heard of him for a year or so since I’m into tattoos, and have several. What I mainly knew was that he was amazing at lettering work. I really love quotes so I knew I wanted him to do some work on me in the future. He also has a cool traditional kind of style, but he really wants to focus on the lettering side of things. This site’s main purpose is to get him known for just that.
Obviously he needs people to see his work, and there is no better way to do that than with a photo gallery. Instead of just having that buried in a bunch of other pages, I made that the main page (after the splash/intro/logo page). All of the thumbnails can be clicked and open up into a larger lightbox style window. It even looks great on smartphones!
To really keep the site simple, there are only a few other basic pages like about and contact. I really wanted the work to speak for itself and for prospective clients to be able to get in touch with him easily. So I also added his social networks on there, as well as a page that lists where he will be traveling to across the country/world in the future. Since he plans on doing a lot of tattoo conventions, this will help people plan out their calendars so they can hopefully get some insane artwork on their bodies.
